Hello, I'm Kirsty, a dedicated and experienced English and Maths tutor with over 15 years of experience in education, working with children aged 5-16 across a variety of abilities. I’m based in Leicester/Leicestershire and travel to my pupils’ homes to deliver in-person tutoring sessions. My approach is rooted in fostering a love for learning, building confidence, and providing tailored support to help every child thrive academically and personally.
As a specialist teacher supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, I understand that each child learns in their own unique way. If your child needs home tutoring during the day or after school, then I can support them with tailored lessons to meet their needs.
As well as this, I also support children in mainstream school or home education who are looking to work on confidence, consolidate key skills or revise for exams. Whether your child requires additional support to manage their emotions or needs help developing key skills in reading and writing, I’m here to guide them through their learning journey in a patient, empathetic, and understanding way.
